Misha Coach is a professional tool for approved nutrition coaches. It is a separate app from Misha, which is the app your clients use. If you are a client rather than a coach, the policy that applies to you is here.
What we collect about you, the coach
When you apply for an account we collect your name, email address, phone number, professional qualifications, a short description of your practice, and any website or social media links you choose to add. We use these to verify that you are a qualified practitioner before approving your account. Approval is a manual human review.
While you use the app we also store:
- Messages you exchange with your clients, including photos and voice notes
- Private notes you write about a client — both the general note and dated entries
- Saved replies you create
- A push notification token for each device you sign in on
What you can see about your clients
Always visible: their food diary entries, their weigh-ins, their name and the messages between you.
Only if the client opts in: their progress photos, their step counts, their recipes and meal plans.
A client must actively connect to you by entering your invite code in their own app and choosing what to share. You cannot add a client yourself, and you cannot see anyone who has not connected to you.
A client can disconnect, or change what they share, at any time. When they do, your access stops immediately. This is enforced by the database itself rather than by the app choosing to hide things, so it applies everywhere at once and cannot be bypassed.
Your private notes about a client are visible only to you — not to the client, and not to any other coach.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data or your clients’ data
- We do not use health data for advertising
- We do not show advertising in this app
- This app contains no analytics or tracking SDKs
Who else processes this data
- Supabase — database, authentication and file storage (EU)
- Expo — push notification delivery (US)
- Apple / Google — delivering notifications to your device (US)
- OpenAI — transcribing voice notes into text (US)
Voice notes you record are sent to OpenAI purely to produce a text transcript, which is stored alongside the message. If you would rather no audio left our systems, type instead of recording.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account from Profile → Delete account in the app. It takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.
Deleted: your coach profile, your private notes about clients, your saved replies, and your push notification tokens. Every client connection is revoked, which immediately ends your access to all client data.
Not deleted: your clients’ own diaries, weigh-ins and photos, which belong to them and remain in their accounts. Your message history with each client is also retained, because it is a shared record — a client should not lose half a conversation because their coach left. If you want your messages removed as well, contact us and we will handle it as a data request.
How long we keep it
Your account data is kept while your account exists. Messages are retained as a record of the coaching relationship for both parties.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, export or erase your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. Health and nutrition data is treated as special-category data and is processed only on the basis of explicit consent. To exercise any of these, contact [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

Misha Coach is for professional practitioners and is not intended for anyone under 18.
